Departure.
Today, July 23, 2009, John and I left on the ultimate road trip. We'll be documenting the trip here in case any of you are curious as to what is going on. Any pictures on the blog you may feel free to click to enlarge (like the one below).

Bon voyage, guys! You're following my trail from 1962--hope you'll have as great a trip as I did back then!
ReplyDeleteWow, my little bro making the trip, Its one of my favorites, and you have time to do it! Hope you two are having a blast driving across the country, Sounds like you guys are on the 40? I wish I could do it again, make sure you stop and see all the stuff I never got to stop and see, the grand canyon costs like $20 once you make it down that long road its pretty out of the way but worth it if you have the time. You guys are more then welcome to stop by our place if you want to see some giant trees, we have some here, and there are bigger ones about two hours north, you're old enough for a wine tour now, there is a place for both of you to stay here if you would like. I don't think I'll be making that trip for a while. Anyways, this is a trip that will stay with you forever so have a great time! And stop to see giant balls of yarn and such things. I'll e-mail you my number
